For over 40 years CAPI has provided critical resources to immigrants, refugees, and other marginalized communities in the Twin Cities.
From a small culturally-specific food shelf in 1982 to an organization serving over 12,000 individuals annually, CAPI has grown along with our communities.
Join us on September 11th at the Luminary Arts Center to enjoy the beauty and vibrancy of the refugee and immigrant communities that CAPI works with. Attendees will experience dance, song, theater, and more! Appetizers will be provided and guests will find a variety of exciting silent auction items to bid on.

Give & Grow 2024
Hear from some of our staff members and see highlights of CAPI’s work and impact in 2024. It provides a glimpse into why our organization is important to the community and is a necessary resource for our participants.
Silent Auction
Thanks to several businesses and organizations in the Twin Cities, we are able to provide exciting items and experiences for in-person and virtual attendees to bid on. All proceeds from the auction help: put food on tables, people find jobs, participants access wellbeing and health programming, and so much more.
A few of the 2024 auction items included:
- A 3-night stay at a vacation home in Bluff City, TN for up to 12 people.
- A morning meeting package from Butter Bakery.
- A $100 gift card to one of Minneapolis’ newest jazz clubs–Berlin!
- 2 tickets to Ceu at Dakota Jazz Club.
